Itinerary

We leave for Vancouver tomorrow afternoon.  Fly out Friday at noon.  Feeling surprisingly calm.

Just got our in China intinerary and bill today.  It was less than we thought it would be.  Always nice.  There aren't any tours included except one three hour tour in Nanchang which is likely a tour of the Tengweng pavillion.  Leaves us with a fair amount of free time on our own.  Three days in Beijing back to back.  Thinking we might have time to take the night train to Xian to see the terra cotta warriers.  We shall see.  Hard to imagine an adoption trip without the jade factory and friendship store tour.  Although I was counting on getting Luk's bracelet at the jade factory.  I'm also thinking that if we're going to choose where we see the Great Wall that we should go to the shute, I think Eric would get a big kick out of that. There was only one dinner included in the trip as well.  Lack of tours and meals explains the lower cost :)

Our guide in Nanchang is Mary who was our guide before.  She was great.  Our guide in Beijjng is Mr. Yang again.  We all loved him.  I know he will be a great help to us with the logistics of getting around and touring on our own.  Little bit scary and a whole lot exciting.

We still get Luk on Sunday afternoon.   At the adoption center.  Had no idea it would be open on a Sunday.   Sorta expecting to have that change when we're there to meeting Luk at the hotel.  The paperwork refers to him as a baby over and over.   Also said to have bottles and diapers ready.  Messes with my image of him as a toddler on the go ;)

We're at a different hotel in Beijing.  No pool and no wifi now.  Pictures looked ok.

Quiet night here.  Can't believe we're almost there!
